Look Who's 2!

Our little Macey Boo turned 2! I cannot believe it was 2 whole years ago she was this tiny and looked like this: ( 5lbs 9 oz 19 1/4 in)

She has definitely grown up a lot since then and is as spunky as they come! Not to mention, BUSY, BUSY, BUSY! Her little mind is always going a million miles a minute. Such a little goofball but sweet as can be. Have I mentioned how much she LOVES her baby brother? I don't think she knows his real name, but he is the first thing she asks for when she wakes up in the morning. She is such a little mommy. She softly rubs his head, helps me burp him, fetches his burp clothes, diapers, and wipes, and always wants to be next to him. It's very endearing, not to mention very nice that not once have I had to worry about leaving the 2 of them alone together. (though I'm sure that will change in the coming years) She is a MONKEY. She climbs on, up, over, and through, anything she can get her fingers on. She has, in the last 2 days, learned how to climb up the drawers, closed drawers mind you, up to the counter tops in the kitchen! YIKES!! and out of her crib. ooohhh, not fun! Luckily, she ONLY does this for nap time, and thanks to a "tip" from my bro and s.i.l., and a pair of pantyhose, she has remained confined. :-). I get my crib tent tomorrow. woohoo! We wish she would lend us some of her endless energy. She sure keeps us on our toes all day long, there is never a dull moment. She makes us laugh with her bubbly, fun personality, and although some days nap/bed time couldn't come quick enough, we wouldn't trade a moment of it.

WE LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU MACEY BOO!!!! We are so grateful Heavenly Father blessed our lives by sending you to us.

Fun Macey Facts at 2 Years:
Weight: 21 lbs
12 month clothes
Fav Foods: mac & cheese, fruit, juice water, toast, pizza (asks for it every meal since her bday)
Prayers- hers are quite entertaining. they are 1/2 words, 1/2 sign language. She signs "Thank You" by waving her arm, and "Amen" by a firm nod of her head
Numbers: she can recognize numbers and is starting to count. She can tell you how many fingers your holding up and always asks for "two strawberries" if I dare to only give her 1. :)
Whispers: has the funniest little whisper/secrets and face to go with it.
light switch: she could turn it on and off all day
climbs on EVERYTHING
water - she'd live in it if she could. Really. Any water, pool, bath, ocean, sprinkle. If she sees it, she's in it. She's actually a very good swimmer for her age!
rockstar sleeper: this girl Loves bedtime and NEVER puts up a fight. Still takes a great nap without persuasion, and patiently waits for us to come get her in the morning. She also sleeps until 7:30-8. thank goodness!
Ring Around the Rosie: She loves to sing. LOVES it. I think she might sing more than she talks. 98% of the time it is either "Old McDonald" or Ring around the Rosie, or something close to it, while walking in a circle, over and over again. We often find her singing to herself in her crib in the morning and after nap while she's waiting for us to get her.
Garbage Truck: watching the garbage and recycling trucks has become a ritual. The recycling guy is very nice and always has a smile, wave and toot of the horn for Macey while she looks on with amazement.
She has Super Sonic Ears: and every time she hears any noise from an automobile or air craft, she freezes, points, and with eyes wide open, lets out an exasperated "HUHHH!" Usually followed by her version of "Helicopter!", "Airplane!", "Lawn mower!" or "Garbage truck!"
Shoes: She has a fetish. She's ALWAYS wearing at least one of my shoes. I'll be lucky to locate them all again some day.
Laugh: For being a pint size she sure has a Hearty Laugh. It's the greatest!!
