Crew's First Birthday Party

So, back in June, do you see a trend here? Crew had a birthday. His First birthday to be exact. So, we had a little party. It was a combined event with his cousin Alice, who is exactly one week younger than Mr. Crew. It was small and super low key, which was just how we, his parents, wanted it.


Crew here with his "frenemy" ;) Hudson. These boys are 2 weeks apart and if their parents have anything to do with it, they will be BFF's.
There was lots of playing going on. Jane, Bella, Crew and Macey on the toy.
Crewfer played with this old car forever. He managed to get himself stuck in it.

Crew had a little help smashing his smash cake from his big sister. What are big sisters for? I think she got more of it than he did.

The dessert spread: Chocolate chip cookie cupcakes, cookies, homemade ice cream with lots of mix-ins. We did have a very tasty dinner as well. I remember chicken kabobs with 3 dipping sauces, and a whole bunch of other stuff. Lets be honest, the food makes the party, well a big part of it :)
Getting all that birthday cake and frosting hosed off. Yeah, we're classy like that.

Tiff, James and Hudson. These guys are the best. Alli and her 3 cute kids came too. We have some great, great friends.

We had a great time celebrating those babes' first birthdays. Crazy how fast that year flew by! Here's to hoping the 2nd year slows down a bit. We love you Crewper!!
