Prescott in a Day

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! This has been a WONDERFUL, like, really wonderful Christmas! I didn't even get out of my pajamas today or leave the house! (except to go play outside with new toys) That plus lots of family time, waaaaayyyy too much food and sugar, a pair of size 18 pants from my husband, and just a really good Christmas spirit has made this Christmas extra special. But, that's for another post. I'm still playing catch-up, so while I'm sitting here watching Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (thank you DVR and sure, go ahead and call me a dork but you know you like it) I'm posting yet another overdue entry.

Every year we go up to Prescott for the "Christmas Festival". I'd highly recommend it for any family, especially ones with young kids. All the festivities are super kid friendly and it's all Free! Anyway, the best part this year was that Benton finally was able to come!! He's always had to work before so this was a nice treat. We had ourselves a right good time and as always was a good kick start to getting us in the Christmas spirit.

Here's some of what we did, in no particular order....
looked extremely cute in pea coats and berets
fell asleep on Daddy during the Walk thru Bethlehem, the end of long, eventful day
took a quick family photo
Walked Thru Bethlehem
group shot

hung out and played at the Courthouse
Got in some good Grandma time
saw and pet a LOT of dogs, miss J here pet no less than 25 dogs

Met all the Disney Princesses. She was Really excited, and of course got all shy as soon as they touched her.

Got interviewed for the news!
watched a parade
decorated gingerbread men cookies
decorated said cookies with really fun cousins
Got in some Father and son time

Showed off cookie decorating, and frosting eating skills, and looked really cute doing it.
