The "Easter Chicken" Came

Easter weekend over here was crazy fun and BUSY BUSY BUSY. I guess that's what happens when you have the entire family over, including 21 grandkids, Saturday and Sunday. What's better than great weather and a lot of family time? Although, I'll admit I was quick to volunteer to pick my mom up from the airport in the middle of the madness, and get a bit of quiet. ahhhh.
We colored Easter eggs between conference sessions on Saturday, and well, thank goodness for DVR's, watching the afternoon session was next to impossible.
Macey was a little more into this year, as you can tell by her blue fingers. We had kids of every color running around by the end of the day.


Macey loved her Easter basket, especially her new "Spot" book from Grandma and bubble necklace. Sunday was awesome, I love conference weekend! We got to lounge around all morning listening to the great talks. Then it was time to hit the kitchen and get cooking. We had sooooooooooooooooooooo much food for dinner!! It was ridiculous. We're still going strong on leftovers! The kids got to hunt for eggs, Macey sorta got the hang of it, I can't wait to see her next year.
So, in attempt to save Macey's clothes from being ruined from egg dye, we put her in my of mine, and a modern-day Cindy Lauper was born! Check her out.

It was a GREAT weekend, even though we were all completely exhausted and worthless on Monday, we can't wait for next year!
